OVERVIEW

Kyusik is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Services and Asia Pacific Groups. He assists clients with all aspects of their business including incorporation, financing, management, corporate governance, sales, mergers, acquisitions and winding up. His comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive practical and strategic guidance at every stage of their business.

Kyusik maintains strong ties to Korea, his country of origin. He takes great pride in assisting Korean-speaking clients in any capacity and is committed to bridging cultural and legal gaps between Korea and Canada. He advises Korean companies on their expansion into the Canadian market and provides support to various Korean government agencies. Kyusik also joined the Canadian delegation on the Creative Industries Trade Mission to South Korea.

As a Korean citizen, he duly served his military duty as an infantry division leader in 2021. For his outstanding performance during his military service, he was awarded a Ministerial Commendation by the Minister of Korean National Defence.

Outside of his professional commitments, Kyusik enjoys playing baseball and traveling the world. During his schooling, he studied abroad in Scotland and Singapore.
