Developing Future Lawyers: The RBS Business Law Clinic’s Annual Reception at the Peter A. Allard School of Law

The RBS Business Law Clinic offers law students a valuable educational experience, allowing them to apply their knowledge of business law in a clinical environment to benefit the public. Through this hands-on approach, students develop practical skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for professional ethics and responsibility as they assist various business and non-profit organizations. This year’s reception featured notable speakers, including Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC’s Dean Ngai Pindell, RBS Partner Sze-Mei Yeung, and RBS Counsel Amir Ghahreman, one of three Clinic Adjunct Professors alongside RBS Partners Tamara Huculak and David Harvey.

Adjuncts hold part-time appointments and possess specialized professional skills that are invaluable to the University, primarily engaging in practice outside of UBC and other academic institutions. Their responsibilities include supervising student-client interactions, leading seminar discussions, mentoring students, and teaching courses.
