OVERVIEW

Daniel is a member of the firm’s family and litigation groups. He has effectively represented clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and various administrative tribunals.

His legal career is underpinned by a distinguished academic background. Daniel obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. During his legal studies, he dedicated his summers to volunteering with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, providing essential legal advice and representation to underserved individuals throughout the Greater Vancouver Area. His commitment to legal scholarship is further evidenced by his roles as an assistant editor for both the Canadian Journal of Human Rights and Appeal: Review of Current Law and Law Reform. Additionally, he volunteered with the Pacific Centre for Environmental Law and Litigation, collaborating on initiatives in the field of climate litigation. Prior to law school, Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with distinction, where he cultivated a profound understanding of socioeconomic issues and their intersection with criminal justice policy. Before embarking on his legal career, Daniel gained diverse professional experience, including roles as a gardener, a telecommunications customer relations consultant, and a legal assistant. These foundational experiences honed his analytical abilities and fostered a keen sense of inquiry.

Daniel is deeply committed to access to justice and upholding the rule of law. He is recognized for his ability to cultivate and maintain strong interpersonal relationships and approaches legal challenges by developing strategic solutions that meticulously assess risk and prioritize client needs.

As a first-generation Canadian whose family immigrated from Italy, Daniel (or Daniele) is fluent in Italian, further enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

Outside of the office, Daniel is an avid follower of current events, with a focus on global finance, politics, and emerging technology. For downtime, he enjoys gardening, watching great films, and unwinding with a good book, video games, or a casual round of golf.
