OVERVIEW

Jingjing is a member of the firm’s Business Law Group, advising clients on corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and securities.

Jingjing brings a distinctive cross-jurisdictional background to her practice. After law school, she worked as legal counsel in China before being called to the bar in British Columbia. Before joining RBS, she practised at a national firm in Vancouver, advising businesses across a range of transactional matters. She is fluent in Mandarin and English, and regularly works with clients with cross-border interests.

REPRESENTATIVE CLIENT WORK:

  • Acted for Tincorp Metals in its C$17.5 million brokered and non-brokered private placement of subscription receipts and subsequent US$28.9 million acquisition of the Santa Barbara Gold-Copper Project in Ecuador
  • Acted for Northland Properties in its acquisition of the trademarks, intellectual property and exclusive rights to the Denny’s brand in Canada
  • Acted as Canadian legal counsel to National Foods in its sale of a majority ownership stake in A1 Cash & Carry to CCMP Growth Advisors
