Our Advanced Education Lawyers Host the 11th Annual University Counsel CLE Seminar

Our Advanced Education & Research Group hosted its 11th annual University Counsel CLE Seminar, welcoming in-house counsel from eight leading post-secondary institutions across British Columbia. This seminar is designed to facilitate discussions of topical issues experienced by university in-house counsel. Managing Partner and Chair of the Group, Aneez Devji, opened the event, while Sze-Mei Yeung and Georg Reuter moderated the program. Highlights included a presentation from Richard Stobbe of Field Law on the regulation and governance of AI in Canada, along with a talk by Jonathan Woolley on the successful use of arbitration for institutional dispute resolution. The seminar concluded with a cocktail reception, fostering meaningful discussions and promoting connection and collaboration among attendees.
