Michelle Quinn, partner and co-chair of the Employment and Human Rights Group at RBS, and Esra Yacout, Employment lawyer, successfully defended defended a Domino’s Pizza franchise against a complaint of discrimination based on race. The Tribunal dismissed the complaint in its entirety and found that the complainant’s employment was terminated after he breached the company’s policies and threatened his employer to increase his hours or face consequences. The Tribunal also accepted that there were issues with the complainant’s job performance unrelated to his race and place of origin.
