Aisha F. Estey

OVERVIEW

Aisha Estey is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Richards Buell Sutton, and a member of the firm’s Estate Litigation Group.

Aisha’s practice focuses on estate and wills variation disputes. Having taken cases to judgment as both lead and second chair, she brings a trial lawyer’s perspective to assessing risk and advising clients on settlement, with attention to the relationships, costs, and timelines that shape what a good outcome looks like for each client.

Aisha holds a Master of Laws from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, and a law degree from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.

Aisha is a Governor of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She also previously served as President of a political party, leading it through a general election and a provincial leadership election.

Born in Saskatoon and raised in Victoria, B.C., Aisha is enjoying growing her life and career in Vancouver. Outside the office, she enjoys travel, a buttery Chardonnay, live music, and watching sports.
