Jen Wilson

OVERVIEW

Jen began her legal career over 20 years ago as a legal secretary, and then as a paralegal working in a variety of practice areas including municipal law, civil litigation, wills and estates, real estate and corporate.

Jen joined Richards Buell Sutton in 2020 as a paralegal in the Wealth Preservation department. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for a small law firm providing paralegal support to their tax law team.  In the last 5 years, Jen has specialized in corporate restructures and corporate reorganizations with a focus on tax deferred transactions such as estate freezes, which she has a strong passion for. She also has experience with various corporate matters including incorporations, amalgamations, continuations, wind-ups and corporate distributions.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys exploring local parks and trails with her two dogs, and camping with her family. She also enjoys learning new hobbies, such as genealogy and origami, and she loves to bake.
