OVERVIEW
Jeenat is currently completing her articles at the firm, having earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law in May 2025.
Born and raised in Kamloops, B.C., she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Thompson Rivers University with a major in history. There, she became president of the TRU Pre-Law Society and worked to foster an accessible environment for students exploring pathways into the legal profession.
Before law school, Jeenat worked at the Court of Appeal as a clerk gaining valuable experience with courtroom procedures. At UVic law, she served as an executive member of the South Asian Law Students Association playing a key role in organizing events and supporting student initiatives. In her second year, she participated as a researcher for the Harold G. Fox Canadian Intellectual Property Moot.
Outside the office, Jeenat enjoys travelling, watching reality television, and reading.
