On September 23, 2014, Mark Baron presented at The Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. Mark presented on the topic, Real Estate Financing, Lending & Opinions, and discussed the following:
- opinion issues from the borrower/lender perspective
- borrower’s counsel, swaps, complex borrower’s agreements, inter-creditors agreements
- what to look for—bankers acceptance clause
- opinions—financing, lending issues, limited partnership structures
