On March 6th, Real Estate Lawyer Aneez N. Devji will be teaching in a program entitled “Commercial Leasing: Modern Challenges for Leasing in BC” at the Pacific Business & Law Institute. The commercial leasing landscape is changing and new challenges are arising in 2020. Aneez will explore the growth of strata office and strata industrial leases and describe approaches to dealing with the needs of different owners and tenants, including those in mixed-use developments. Aneez acts as primary counsel for several landlords of large shopping centres, office towers and mixed-use buildings and centres, and has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial leases.
