Biography

Yue is a member of the firm’s intellectual property and business services groups. Yue’s practice covers a range of intellectual property matters and general corporate commercial laws.

With respect to her intellectual property practice, Yue advises clients on all aspect of trademark prosecution, protection and enforcement, as well as on copyright and intellectual property licensing matters.

With respect to corporate commercial matters, Yue assists clients with incorporation and in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements in the technology sector.  Yue also advises on technology development, privacy, and other commercial transactions relating to technology products and services.

Prior to joining RBS, Yue articled at an intellectual property boutique in Vancouver, where she gained experience in a wide range of intellectual property issues including trademark, patent, copyright, and industrial design.

Yue grew up in China and Toronto and has been in Vancouver since law school.  Prior to moving to Vancouver, Yue worked in regulatory affairs at two multi-national pharmaceutical companies in Toronto.  Yue is fluent in Mandarin and has years of experience translating between Chinese and English.  In her free time, Yue enjoys playing the piano, attending concerts, travelling, and exploring new cultures.

Yue also provides legal services in Mandarin.
