Rutsu joined Richards Buell Sutton LLP as a summer student during 2011. During first year of law school, Rutsu volunteered for the University of Calgary's Student Legal Assistance Program. She was also a member of the Pro-bono Students Canada Program during both first and second year. During the summer of 2010, Rutsu traveled to Beijing where she participated in a summer exchange program at China University of Political Science and Law to learn about the Chinese legal system. She is also a small time celebrity at the U of C law school, acting and dancing in Law Show, the annual law student's talent show.
When Rutsu is not studying, she enjoys dancing, dog walks and baking.
Rutsu was with the firm May through August of 2011, then returned to the University of Calgary to complete her law degree. The firm looks forward to having Rutsu back with us in the Spring of 2012 for her Articling Year.
