Karen completed her articles at Richards Buell Sutton LLP and then joined the firm's real estate group in 2008 with an emphasis on real estate development and commercial leasing.
In addition to her experience at Richards Buell Sutton LLP, Karen has acted as in-house counsel for a public educational institution which involved policy drafting, researching legal issues, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and advising on matters within a wide variety of areas, including real estate law, privacy law, intellectual property law, commercial law and governance.
