Brenda M. Lightbody, Partner

Brenda Lightbody is a partner in the firm's commercial lending group and real estate group.  Brenda's practice at Richards Buell Sutton LLP covers all aspects of real estate law with a focus on commercial lending.

Brenda acts for all types of lenders including banks, insurance companies, private and non-institutional lenders in a variety of commercial and residential loan transactions involving loans and security of all types. She also acts for borrowers on residential and commercial loan transactions.

Brenda's experience also includes acting for developers in the development and sale of residential and mixed use developments and ski resort developments.

Brenda is a regular contributor to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia (Real Estate Practice Manual).  Her speaking experience includes presentations to the Mortgage Investment Association of British Columbia.
