Angela joined Richards Buell Sutton LLP as an associate in the Wealth Preservation practice group after completing her articles with the firm in 2007.
Representative Client Work
- Assists clients with complex estate planning, including wills, alter ego, joint partner, family or other trusts to implement their wishes and minimize taxes
- Incapacity planning, including powers of attorney, nominations of committee and representation agreements
- Advises and assists individuals and trust companies with the probate process and the ongoing administration of estates and trusts
- Advises business owners, managers and individuals on various types of corporate transactions, including the formation and organization of various corporate structures, preparation of shareholders' agreements, reorganizations, trust planning and effective transition of their businesses to the next generation
- Provides on-going general corporate advice

Community
- During law school, Angela participated with the Student Legal Services, as a Civil and Family Law Caseworker between 2004 and 2006 and on Management Committee as Family Law Coordinator, in 2005. She was also involved in the Canadian Cancer Society programs, Camp Goodtimes and Mission Possible. Nowadays, Angela is an instructor at Vancouver Community College in the Paralegal Diploma and Certificate Program.
