Aneez Devji, Articled Student

Aneez Devji has joined Richards Buell Sutton LLP as an articled student, 2011-2012.  During his time with the firm, he will rotate through the firms various areas of law and achieve a better understanding of the practice of law, in addition to client relationship and business development.  It is the firm's goal to help Aneez gain as much information on the practice of law and legal development in the marketplace during the next year, leading up to his call to the Bar of British Columbia.

During his time at UBC Law School, Aneez volunteered with the Law Students Legal Advice Program and perfomed in the Law Revue.  He also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Bruce MacDougall.  Prior to UBC, Aneez graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Simon Fraser University.  While at SFU, Aneez represented the business faculty twice as a member of the debate team at the annual Jeux Du Commerce event, helping SFU reach top honours.  Aneez continues to volunteer within the Ismaili community, providing support in several different capacities and stays active by playing sports, especially soccer, as often as possible.
