October 26, 2011As part of the 2011 RBC GranFondo Whistler, more than 7000 riders cycled the Sea to Sky Highway on a magnificent day in September. Before sunrise, 40 members from Richards Buell Sutton, BC's Oldest Law Firm, were on hand volunteering at the start line, cheering on their own team of cyclist and assisting where they could to make this year's ride an extraordinary event. Richards Buell Sutton LLP was the exclusive legal sponsor of the 2011 RBC GranFondo Whistler.
September 2011Today, the University of British Columbia opened the country's first new purpose-built university law school building in 30 years, a $56-million facility made possible by the largest private fundraising effort for a Canadian law school building.
