Profile

Michael Kale joined Richards Buell Sutton LLP in 2006 as Associate Counsel after running his own firm for 12 years. He is a corporate commercial solicitor providing legal representation for private and public companies in British Columbia. He is part of the firm's Corporate Commercial, Technology and Wealth Preservation practice groups.

With the Corporate Commercial and Technology groups, Michael acts for private and public companies and their principals in a broad range of industries providing legal representation from start up ventures through to initial public offerings. He assists clients in negotiating and structuring:

• business purchases and sales
• plans of arrangement
• joint ventures and partnerships
• franchising and licensing agreements
• mergers and acquisitions
• secondary financings
• technology transfers and licensing
• legal risk management, corporate governance and compliance matters

With the Wealth Preservation group at RBS, Michael assists clients in structuring their affairs to ensure the client's personal and business objectives are met in the most efficient and effective manner whether it is with respect to:
